Midwifery Care

Our midwifery team is prepared and excited to serve you and your family during this sacred time of life.

Our prenatal visits are your time, and we usually spend about an hour sitting and talking together. Getting to build a relationship with your team can be everything.

During visits we might discuss your symptoms (and remedies), upcoming testing options, your birth hopes and dreams, and the opportunity to share any of your bliss and heartache.

We pride ourselves in offering individualized care, to support your healthiest most comfortable pregnancy, and wonderful birth and parenthood experiences.

Fertility

We specialize in out of hospital fertility treatments.
After utilizing out of hospital fertility treatments to conceive I know first hand how sterile in office conception can be. I strive to bring back the magic, and give compassionate support during this tender chapter. Nothing brings me joy like supporting growing families.

This type of support can include blood work, herbal and nutritional counseling, at home ICI/IUI.

We can also do preconception counseling where we may draw labs to asses any potential deficits, and work out an individual plan for conscious conception.

Well Baby Care

Watching your baby grow is my favorite way to stay connected with my families after they’ve given birth. Because after all of your prenatal care and birth it can be hard to say goodbye, and we don’t have to!

We meet and discuss your baby’s milestones, and any troubles you and your baby may be experiencing over their first year of their life.

We’ll also weigh and measure your baby, to track their growth.

Some topics we usually discuss include introducing food, teething, and gentle/no-cry sleep solutions.

Hi, I’m Brielle!

I am the founder, and lead midwife of East County Midwives. I have been attending home births since 2017, and before that I attended hospital births as a doula. I worked in childcare for nearly a decade and saw many parents who were questioning their choices, and feeling lost. I realized that parents needed support sooner, and it lead me to hospital doula work.

I vividly remember my first home birth. It was beautiful, and gentle. The love in the room was abundant, from both the family and their midwifery team.

I instantly realized that was where I wanted to be working with families.
